Product Transformation
This product brings together all the valuable content it offers and extracts deeper insights uncovering additional layers of value.
This feature not only marks the beginning of our journey but also plays a crucial role in demonstrating the concept behind the ScoutAsia Transformation project.
Radar is essential the heart and our USP because no other competitor does it like we do - combining news and corporate data into 1 single monitoring board.

Vision & Strategy
Much of the discovery work has been done before we choose to delve into Radar. Radar bears however new concepts, new ideas, new enhanced capabilities that Handshakes (powering ScoutAsia) bear.
Radar is a complicated feature made to be simple. There were plenty of mind work and mapping done before we could delve into the actual UI design, and even with that said, we did work on the design in parallel (timeline in reality is tight and we are on tight schedule).
So while I was only a UX Manager, I was actually taking a step up to develop the whole product, and this is what kept me passionate.

Defining the backbone of Radar and its value. Radar brings forth the 4/5 of the key points that ScoutAsia should be providing.
Intelligence & Forward
By providing more than one level of information, ScoutAsia Radar essential does the analytic work for you.
Unique Selling Point
We need to be clear on
ScoutAsia's unique selling point, there is no where on the platform that we can pinpoint.
Personalise & Customise
Having a Radar board to customise - eg. only news and company data from a group of suppliers.
And personalise that information with 2nd and 3rd level info.
Content, Quality, & Resources
Maximising the content and assets of ScoutAsia, Radar holds all these information and tie them together.

Level 1 Outputs, Level 2 Outputs, Level 3 Outputs, what are they?
Level Outputs are easily obtained from the 'seeds' we plant, when our customers manually choose the 1st level of filter. We give them the direct results.
But this isn't going to be of high value, so what can we do? Level 2 outputs, are insights and signals derived from the level 1s, giving them more information that they cannot get themselves. We find links and correlations of their Level 1s to produce these co-companies and recommendations. This makes Radar valuable.

An example of how a persona's journey is while using Radar clearly points out the features and steps we might have missed. Above is an example of a persona's journey map, where his focus is to study the market landscape of his industry.
Seeing the final outcome was exhilarating— a true testament to the effort poured into this project.
Bringing this product to life felt like a well-earned reward, a reflection of the dedication and strategic vision that shaped it.
To this day, I still hope to see the full vision of ScoutAsia's come to life and witness its continued evolution.
